The Biennial informed through a post on social media that the cancellation occurred due to the justice's commitments. Cármen Lúcia's participation was considered one of the highlights of the event, as she has been increasingly attending literary festivals across the country.
In July of this year, Cármen Lúcia was received as a pop icon at the Festa Literária Internacional de Paraty (Flip), demonstrating her growing popularity in the Brazilian cultural circuit. The STF is going through the biggest crisis in its history during this period, which may be related to the change in her public schedule.
