A historic property in the Greater Lisbon region is for sale for 100 million euros and attracts interest from international investors. This is a Farm Estate with a Small Palace dating from the early 20th century, located in an area of 600 hectares, marketed by the private team at Quintela e Penalva, the Knight Frank associate in Portugal.
The property is generating interest from buyers in Brazil, the United States, the Middle East and the United Kingdom. The operation involves individuals with assets of at least 25 million euros, business families, family offices and international investors. The identity and exact location of the property are not disclosed for confidentiality reasons, under an NDA agreement with the property.
The property includes a main residence of high architectural value, extensive land areas, great privacy and various buildings suitable for renovation. According to Francisco Quintela, founding partner of Quintela e Penalva, in this segment the value does not result from a traditional price per square meter analysis alone, but rather from a combination of factors such as size, location, privacy, architectural and historical relevance, and difficulty in finding comparable properties on the market.
Despite the demonstrated interest, the deal has not yet been concluded. Quintela states that processes in this segment are confidential and have longer decision cycles, with concrete demand and ongoing contacts with potential buyers, but without any closed or imminent deal.
