STF Minister André Mendonça and the director-general of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues, have until this Friday to respond to the president of the STF, Edson Fachin, about the circumstances that led to the removal of the delegate from the command of the corporation. Andrei Rodrigues was summoned on Wednesday with a 48-hour deadline to present information to Fachin about the episode, should he wish to respond.

Fachin's determination was made within the scope of a request from the Attorney General's Office to suspend Mendonça's decision that removed Andrei Rodrigues from the command of the Federal Police and also the corporation's director of Police Intelligence, Leandro Almada. The case is under Fachin's responsibility, who had already maintained Andrei Rodrigues in the position by suspending the decisions of ministers André Mendonça and Flávio Dino on the matter.

The CNI warned that the extraordinary regularization of immigrants "generates a risk for Spain"

Spain's National Intelligence Center (CNI) warned, through an informative note declassified by the Pedro Sánchez Government following the Ceuta crisis, that the extraordinary regularization process of migrants underway in the country shows a "divergence" with the European Pact on Migration and Asylum, approved in May 2024 during the Spanish presidency of the EU Council. The classified report warned that this situation could leave Spain's position exposed. The document was revealed in a context of diplomatic tension related to the migratory crisis in Ceuta.
