The Latin America Market opens this Friday at the FIARTIL venue, in Estoril, with an offering that includes gastronomy, crafts, dance and music from 14 countries. The event runs for three days and is organized by the Casa da América Latina.
Cristina Valério, from the Casa da América Latina, is responsible for presenting what visitors can see, hear, do or eat during the event. Cultural diversity is one of the main characteristics of the event.
The Diablitos Congos de Portobelo, a traditional group from Panama, will be responsible for opening the market, doing the honors of starting the festivities. The Panamanian presence thus marks the start of this initiative.
The cultural offering extends from Mexico to Argentina, passing through Brazil, Colombia and Peru, among other represented countries. This diversity of countries and traditions makes the market a particularly rich event in Latin American cultural experiences.
