The 5th Crafts Fair of Nariz began today, bringing to the parish an event dedicated to the valorization of traditional arts, local knowledge and the community's cultural identity. The initiative is organized by the Union of Parishes of Requeixo, Nossa Senhora de Fátima and Nariz, bringing together artisans, producers, associations and visitors in an environment of celebration of traditions.
Over the next few days, the public will be able to find a diverse display of artisanal work, including wood, ceramics, embroidery, basket weaving, traditional food products and unique pieces created by artisans from the region. The opening had great community turnout, who returned to attend an event that values the encounter, socializing and preservation of manual practices passed down between generations.
In addition to the exhibition component, the fair includes entertainment moments, live demonstrations of artisanal techniques and activities designed for families, promoting the participation of people of all ages. The organization highlights that this edition reinforces the commitment to supporting artisans, offering them a space for visibility and direct contact with the public.
The initiative aims to promote local talent, encourage small-scale economy, reinforce the role of crafts as living heritage of the parish and revitalize the territory, making known the cultural richness of Nariz to visitors from other parishes and municipalities.
