Sailor Mariana Lobato today spoke about the victory in the first edition of the Ocean Race Atlantic, attributing the merit of success to the resilience of the entire team of the vessel United by the Ocean. The athlete highlighted the collective effort as a determining factor for the conquest.
The competition consisted of an oceanic crossing between New York, in the United States, and Lorient, in France. During the route, the team faced several challenges that tested their capacity for overcoming.
United by the Ocean managed to overcome all difficulties and achieve victory in this first edition of the race, marking a significant result for the Portuguese team in the international sailing scene.
