The Brazilian Embassy in Lisbon celebrated on September 7th the 204th anniversary of Brazil's Independence with a reception held at the Official Residence of Ambassador Raimundo Carreiro and Ambassadress Maria José de Ávila. The event took place between 6pm and 8pm and brought together Portuguese authorities.

FUNCEX (Foundation for International Trade Studies) marked its presence at the celebration, projecting Portugal as the "gateway to Europe and CPLP" (Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries). The foundation aims to promote Brazilian foreign trade.

The ceremony featured the participation of several Portuguese authorities, strengthening the diplomatic ties between Brazil and Portugal on the occasion of the symbolic date of Brazilian independence. The event reinforces the importance of the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

FUNCEX's presence at the event highlights Brazil's interest in using Portugal as a strategic base to expand its trade relations with Europe and Portuguese-speaking countries, taking advantage of the historical and linguistic ties that unite the two nations.
