A fire broke out next to a building at the University City of Lisbon. The fire originated in an air conditioning unit on the exterior of the building.

The fire did not spread to the interior of the building, remaining confined to the exterior area where it started.

The Lisbon firefighters are on site proceeding to extinguish the fire in the university area.

Police find 400 traffic signs, traffic lights, manhole covers and even a fire hydrant in a scrapyard in the West Zone

The Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro arrested in the act the person responsible for an illegal scrap yard in Carobinha, in Campo Grande, in the West Zone. At the location, more than 400 traffic signs, traffic lights, train tracks, fire hydrants, copper wires and manhole covers were seized, totaling almost two tons of materials without provenance. The operation, based on intelligence and monitoring by DRF, revealed that the establishment operated without a license. The owner claimed that the materials were donated, but did not present documentation proving regular origin. Part of the equipment was in perfect condition.
