The sixth edition of the Alhandra Triathlon took place with great success, having been described as a "festival" of the sport. The event had a large spectator presence.
Alhandra Sporting Club had an outstanding performance, winning first place in women's clubs and second place in men's clubs. Individually, the club's athletes achieved four first places.
The event marked the return of competition to Alhandra after some years of absence, which generated enormous joy among participants and the local community.
The athletes from Alhandra had been without competing in their hometown for several years, so the return of the triathlon to the municipality was received with great satisfaction.
