Businessman and investor Afrânio Silva built his career in the cosmetics sector, specifically in the manufacturing and commercialization of hair care products. Drawing from this industry experience, he also began operating as a real estate investor, with investments in Brazil and the United States. Silva applies the same approach he learned managing his company for years to his investment management, assessing risk, cash flow and returns before making any decision.

The personal hygiene, perfumery and cosmetics segment, in which Silva operates, reported revenues of approximately R$200 billion in 2025, according to data from the Brazilian Association of the Personal Hygiene, Perfumery and Cosmetics Industry (Abihpec). Brazil ranks third among the world's largest consumer markets in this sector.

The cosmetics market is characterized by constant product renewal and intense competition, requiring ongoing attention to costs, innovation and brand positioning. According to the businessman, the daily management of an industry in this segment demands intense dedication and distinctive management skills.
