A traffic accident involving a tourist bus occurred in eastern Switzerland, leaving several people dead and others injured, according to police. Police in the canton of Graubünden, a region in the far east of the country, confirmed through posts on social media X that several people died in the bus accident in the locality of Susch, and that several others were injured, without providing further details about the circumstances of the accident or the identities of the victims.
The police corporation also reported that several rescue organizations are working at the scene of the accident. As a result of the tragedy, the highway between the communities of Zernez and Susch was closed, as explained by a police spokesperson to the local newspaper Blue News.
