Sábado10 September 2026 at 22:52

Debbie was a survivor of the September 11 attacks, having been injured by shrapnel from a plane that fell on her. In the middle of the rubble, a stranger provided her with assistance, contributing to her survival.

The speed with which she was rescued was decisive in her ability to save herself. Debbie ended up being the first survivor to be hospitalized and, at the same time, the last to be discharged from hospital.

Currently, Debbie uses a wheelchair as a result of the injuries she sustained that day. However, she can ride a horse, which demonstrates her capacity for overcoming challenges and recovery over the years.
