Vitor Freitas's trajectory in sports communication began from an attempt to help his own sister. After discovering Jiu-Jitsu at a young age, influenced by his father, he spent a period away from the sport and, when he returned, realized he wouldn't be able to balance his routine with training and competitions. He found in journalism a way to stay close to the sport and created a blog to promote his sister's results and seek sponsors for the athlete.
The work gained another dimension after an interview with Fernando Tererê, one of the main names in Jiu-Jitsu history. The report gained traction and reached Graciemag, where Vitor received the opportunity to work as an intern. He remained at the publication for four years, a period during which he followed the sport's circuit and gained experience in sports coverage.
Later, Vitor Freitas created his own communication advisory agency. In 2021, VF Comunica was born, specialized in Jiu-Jitsu.
