The Ministry of State Reform defended today that there is a "clear convergence" between the public procurement reform that Portugal initiated and the priorities now proposed by Brussels.
The ministry highlighted that Portugal had already taken concrete steps in modernizing public procurement processes, anticipating European guidelines in this area.
Brussels has now announced new priorities for public procurement at the European level, which coincide with the lines of action already implemented by Portugal.
The Ministry led by Margarete Soares emphasized that this convergence demonstrates the country's alignment with the targets set at the European Union level.
