The six winners of this year's edition of the Sonae Educação Prize are now known, which awards a total of 150 thousand euros to education projects that stand out for promoting inclusion, innovation, and equitable access to education. From more than a thousand applications received, three projects were distinguished in the general category and three in the public schools category, a new feature of this edition.

In the general category, the awarded projects were: Associação No Bully Portugal, with a project for the prevention of bullying and cyberbullying integrated into programming learning and digital citizenship; Aproximar - Cooperativa de Solidariedade Social, which develops digital, socio-emotional, and employability skills with young people in the Leiria prison; and Kaizen Education, with a project for optimization to reduce school bureaucracy and free up teachers' time for teaching.

In the public schools category, the distinguished projects were: the school cluster Pedro Eanes Lobato, in Amora, with the project "Learning Itineraries: personalizing to include," which adapts pathways to each student's needs; the school cluster of Águeda, with "ProMentI," which focuses on peer mentoring to strengthen academic success; and the kindergarten classes of the school cluster of Castro Verde, with "Robots that play, minds that grow," which introduces educational robotics and STEAM methodologies in pre-school education.

In addition to the monetary prize, the winners now join the Sonae ecosystem, benefiting from specialized support, mentorship, and assistance in implementing and monitoring the impact of the initiatives. With this edition, the Sonae Educação Prize exceeds the half-million euro mark in distributions since its creation in 2023, having received more than 2,200 applications across the four editions.
