The Federal Police identified a financial connection between the producer of the film "Dark Horse," a biopic about Jair Bolsonaro, and companies that received public funds from parliamentary amendments. This information appears in the decision by Supreme Federal Court Justice Flávio Dino, who launched an operation on Thursday to further investigate the financing of the film.
Investigators point out that a form of triangulation occurred involving a business group that sent money to Go Up Entertainment, the production company responsible for the film, while receiving funds from Instituto Conhecer Brasil (ICB) through a public agreement. Both Go Up and ICB have the same owner, Karina Ferreira Gama.
According to the investigations, Go Up received R$750,000 from the company NTT Brasil LTDA, which is said to be part of the same business group as Dinâmica Editora and Instituto Super Poder Educacional. These two companies won R$700,000 from a contract signed with ICB.
