Unilabs announced a 10 million euro investment in an Integrated Diagnostic Center in Porto, which includes a new high-differentiation Nuclear Medicine area. The center thus completes a health complex aimed at reinforcing diagnostic capacity in the northern region of the country.
The unit performs 85% of its exams on patients referred by the National Health Service, demonstrating the investment's focus on meeting the needs of the public health system. This significant proportion of NHS users positions the center as an important partner in decongesting waiting lists in the region.
The new space reinforces the offering of complementary diagnostic means in the Porto area, contributing to greater accessibility for patients to specialized exams. Unilabs, a diagnostics company, thus consolidates its presence in the Portuguese market with this state-of-the-art infrastructure.
