The Sonae Educação Award handed out 150 thousand euros to six educational projects this Thursday in its fourth edition, the most participatory ever with over a thousand applications. In the General Category, the winners were Associação No Bully Portugal, Aproximar, and Kaizen Education, while in the new Public Schools Category, the winners were Agrupamento de Escolas Pedro Eanes Lobato, Agrupamento de Escolas de Águeda, and the Kindergarten schools of Agrupamento de Escolas de Castro Verde. The projects focus on bullying prevention, digital skills, inclusion, peer mentoring, and educational robotics, and will now join the Sonae ecosystem with specialized support. The winners were announced at the Serralves Foundation in Porto, during a conference on the future of learning in the artificial intelligence era.
