The Madeira Government Council met today in plenary and decided to authorize the signing of several simple contracts with education and teaching establishments. The objective is to co-finance the operating costs and educational social action of these institutions, covering social support and school social action.
The contracts aim to promote and develop the activities of the establishments in the nursery and kindergarten modalities, ensuring better conditions of access and attendance for students. This measure is part of the policy for promoting educational and social development in the region.
The Madeiran Executive also approved the allocation of 280 thousand euros to the Rally Madeira Legend. This fund is intended to support the holding of this sporting event in the region, which is part of the reference motor racing calendar in the archipelago.
