The number of Portuguese tourists who visited Brazil in the first seven months of 2026 grew 25% compared to the same period the previous year. The Portuguese represent the main European nationality among visitors to the country.
According to the mentioned data, approximately 178,000 Portuguese tourists were in Brazil between January and July 2026. In total, nearly six million tourists visited the country in that same period.
