The São Torcato Youth Festival returns for another edition, remaining one of the references in the summer calendar of the parish. The event is organized by CRCA and the Parish Council of São Torcato, with the support of the Municipality of Guimarães. The initiative was born in 2005 and over the years has promoted community gathering and participation.
The programme runs over two days, beginning on Friday, the 11th. The opening night features a performance by the São Torcato Children's Theatre Group, followed by Grupo Samb@r and Luís Marinho. The closing of the first night is handled by DJ Paul'R and Lowie.
On Saturday, the 12th, the highlight goes to João Dias's stand-up comedy show, before performances by Zebra Libra and Meninos da Favela. The closing of this edition is entrusted to DJ Pette, one of the highlighted names of this edition and a Portuguese artist who recently performed at the Tomorrowland festival.
