Faro takes over management of the commercial quay and prepares natural marina for 500 vessels

The Faro City Council took over the management of the city's commercial quay. In a statement, the council states that this transfer of powers marks the first step to move forward with the 'Hub Mar' project.

This project envisions the creation of a marina in the inner area of the current commercial quay. The natural marina should be prepared to accommodate approximately 500 vessels.

In addition to the marina, 'Hub Mar' includes other infrastructures linked to nautical activities and research. The goal is to transform Faro's waterfront area into a hub for maritime activities.
