A fire broke out this afternoon at Café Nicola, in Rossio, Lisbon. The alert was given at 3:10 PM and firefighters were quickly deployed to the scene. The fire was declared extinguished, but there was one person slightly injured as a result of the incident.
Authorities proceeded with the evacuation of a Banco de Portugal building, located near the café. The measure was taken as a precaution, given the proximity between the two establishments.
