Volta collected 305 million packages in the first five months

The Volta system collected 305 million packages in the first five months of operation. This number represents the total packages deposited at the collection points managed by the system.

The managing entity of the system is SDR Portugal, responsible for the administration of the Deposit and Refund System. According to the data released, the number of packages placed at collection points tripled in the last two months, indicating a significant acceleration in the system's adoption.

Volta is a system that allows consumers to deposit packages at specific collection points, encouraging the recycling and reuse of materials.
