CMF Promotes Senior Dance Festival 2026

The Senior Dance Festival 2026 took place on September 10th, a Thursday, at the auditorium of the Municipal Garden. The event brought together participants from different groups and institutions from the Autonomous Region of Madeira, celebrating dance among the senior population.

The initiative was promoted by CMF (Funchal City Council), demonstrating the municipality's commitment to cultural activities for the elderly. Councilor Helena Leal was present at the event, representing the city council.

The festival's main objective was to value the active role of the senior population, promoting the social and cultural participation of the elderly in the region. Dance served as a vehicle for integration and well-being for the participants.
