Dance puts senior population in motion in Funchal

The Municipal Garden Auditorium, in Funchal, received on September 10th the Senior Dance Festival 2026, an event that brought together participants from different groups and institutions of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.

The festival was promoted by the Association Wise Examples, through the Senior Dance Madeira project, demonstrating this organization's commitment to activities that involve the senior population of the region.

The event's main objective was to value the active role of the senior population, promoting active aging, social interaction and participation in the community through dance and movement.

After controversy, Anitta gets approval and will hold Ensaios at Olympic Park

After controversy, Anitta got approval to use the Olympic Park, in the Southwest Zone of Rio, for the Rio edition of Ensaios on January 24, 2027. It will be the largest edition in the event's history, with 12 hours of party, including six hours of Anitta and guest performances, plus a warm-up with DJs. The exclusive pre-sale for clients of a sponsoring card starts next Tuesday (15), while sales for the general public will open on September 17. Rio was the only city that still didn't have a confirmed venue or tickets on sale.
