The opening of the "Laboratórios" exhibition will take place on September 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM, in the exhibition hall of A Moagem – Cidade do Engenho e das Artes, in Fundão. The exhibition presents the results of workshops held in schools throughout the municipality.
The project is promoted by the Municipality of Fundão in partnership with the School Clusters of Fundão and Gardunha e Xisto. During the 2025/2026 school year, it featured the participation of eight artists who worked with students from primary to secondary education, extending for the first time to several primary schools in the villages of the municipality.
The artists worked across disciplines including dance, drawing, theater, illustration, sculpture, and music, using classrooms, outdoor spaces, and Warehouse 9. The exhibition showcases not only the formal outcomes but also the processes, derivations, and shared languages developed throughout the journey.
The exhibition will be on display from September 12 to October 3, 2026, Tuesday through Saturday, from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, with free admission.
