SRS Legal advises AddLife on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Unicam Sistemas Analíticos

The law firm SRS Legal advised AddLife on the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Unicam Sistemas Analíticos, a Portuguese company specialized in the distribution of advanced analytical laboratory equipment. The operation was completed on September 8, 2026, and reinforces AddLife's presence in the Portuguese market.

The SRS Legal team was led by Alexandra Valente, partner in charge of the Corporate & Finance Department, with the participation of coordinator Miguel Pereira Bonifácio and associate Clara Andrade Coelho.

Unicam, in operation since 1991, has around 20 employees and annual revenue of approximately 10 million euros. The company supplies equipment, consumables, technical assistance, services and training in the areas of chromatography, spectrometry and microwave technology, serving universities, research institutions and companies in different industrial sectors.

AddLife is a Swedish Life Science group, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, which brings together around 85 operating companies and 2,300 employees. Unicam now integrates the Labtech business area of the AddLife group.

Demand for cars in the used car market grew 9% in August

The used vehicle market in Portugal recorded year-on-year growth of 9% in demand and 11% in supply in August, with the category of automobiles below 15 thousand euros being the only one where demand exceeds supply. Cars above 30 thousand euros show a lower average selling time, possibly due to the growing importance of electric vehicles in this range. Average advertised prices continue to rise, although this is explained by the composition effect of stock and not by real inflation. Property transfer decreased by 23%, while imports grew 2.4% to 10,163 vehicles. In the new segment, registrations grew 8.4%, with electric vehicles representing 36.1% of the total. A Standvirtual executive warns that used vehicles face greater pressure between supply and demand, making it crucial to ensure the right inventory, at the right price, and with adequate rotation capacity.
