Minister Flávio Dino, of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), determined that the targets of the investigation into the financing of the Dark Horse film cannot leave the country nor communicate with each other, so as not to hinder the investigations. The determination also includes the collection of passports from those investigated.
The Federal Police carried out this Thursday an operation to investigate the financing of the biopic of former president Jair Bolsonaro. Agents executed 49 search and seizure warrants, all ordered by Minister Dino.
The investigation targets the alleged embezzlement of parliamentary amendments designated for the production of the work. The Dark Horse film is a feature film about the life of former president Bolsonaro and was scheduled to be released after the elections.
Among the targets of the operation is federal deputy Mário Frias (PL-SP), who also had seven firearms seized by the Federal Police during the operation.
