The Proposal of Law No. 13/XVII/1st, presented by the Legislative Assembly of Madeira, aims to reinforce the participation of the Autonomous Regions in the National Qualifications System (NQS) and guarantee their representation in decision-making processes that have a direct impact on their respective territories.
The proposal was discussed in detail last Tuesday in the Committee on Labour, Social Security and Public Administration, where the PSD made its position on the matter heard.
The Social Democratic party reinforces the defense of Madeira's participation in national training policies, considering it fundamental that the Region have an active voice in decisions that concern its citizens.
This legislative initiative arises in the context of a broader debate on the decentralization of competencies and the need for the Autonomous Regions to participate more effectively in the definition of professional qualification policies at the national level.
