The Galeria Anjos Teixeira, located in Funchal, will inaugurate on September 17, at 7 PM, the exhibition "Arremendos", by visual artist Érica Gomes.
Érica Gomes is native to Funchal, where she was born in 2003, making her a young artist of only 20 years of age at the time of the exhibition.
The artist develops a practice based on experimentation, using techniques such as photocopying, collage, sewing and rayography. The personal archive assumes a central role in her work, being displaced from the original context to acquire new dimensions and meanings.
