At 83 years old, Mick Jagger maintains an intense physical activity routine and shows no intention of slowing down. The Rolling Stones would be preparing a new tour for next year, which requires the singer to have adequate physical preparation to withstand the demands of a live show.
The one supervising the rock star's training is Norwegian fitness trainer Torje Eike, who has experience working with Olympic athletes and national football teams. Eike is also a physiotherapist and works as a dance trainer.
Jagger's training sessions last two to three hours and focus mainly on improving the aerobic endurance needed for the shows. The trainer also recommends activities such as ballet, yoga, and pilates, which help optimize the flexibility and body control essential for the singer's choreography.
