The Junta de Freguesia do Seixal signed a protocol with the Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Norte da Madeira to take over the management, operation and maintenance of two bathing facilities: Poça das Lesmas and Mata Sete.
This agreement allows the local authority to take direct responsibility for the administration of these two infrastructures, ensuring their conservation and operation for the enjoyment of the population.
The Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Norte da Madeira was until now the entity responsible for managing these spaces, having transferred their operation to the Junta do Seixal through this protocol.
With this transfer, the Junta de Freguesia now has control over the services offered in these two bathing areas, being able to define maintenance and investment priorities according to the needs of the local community.
