More than 12 thousand teachers joined the education system this school year. The information was announced by the Secretary of State for School Administration, Maria Luísa Oliveira, during the opening session of the school year.

The opening session took place this morning at Escola Secundária José Falcão in Coimbra. Maria Luísa Oliveira was responsible for announcing the numbers regarding the teachers who joined the education system.

The number of more than 12 thousand teachers represents a significant reinforcement of the teaching staff for the current school year. The ceremony at the school in Coimbra marked the official beginning of the school activities.
