PS wants explanations about the Lazareto WWTP

In the council meeting held today, the Socialist Party councilor in the Funchal City Council, Rui Caetano, once again took up the defense of quality of life, safety and transparency in the municipality, confronting the municipal executive with serious problems that directly affect the population of Funchal. The socialist representative confronted the municipality with the very serious situation of unbearable odors caused by the Lazareto WWTP, highlighting that the official response from the City Council on this matter remains insufficient. The Socialist Party demands clear explanations about the measures being taken to solve the problem of bad smells that affect residents in the area. This is not the first time the issue has been raised by the socialist councilor, who continues to pressure the executive to take concrete decisions.
