Aurélio Pinto passed away. He was a member of the Socialist Party and held the position of coordinator of the Paris section.

He was president of the Coordination of Portuguese Collectivities in France, an organization that represents Portuguese communities in that country.

Additionally, Aurélio Pinto was one of the co-founders of Rádio Portugal FM, a radio station dedicated to the Portuguese community in France.

The former coordinator was also the founder of the first digital outlet Portugal Presente, a communication platform dedicated to the Portuguese diaspora.
