The PSP detained in the early morning of September 9, in Lagos, three suspects aged between 24 and 31, following a theft from a residence. The police intervention originated from a citizen's report who caught an individual inside his residence, who fled through a window and joined two other suspects who were outside, taking a mobile phone with him.
The victim chased the fugitives and managed to intercept and detain two of them nearby. The PSP located the third suspect inside a parked vehicle near the scene, which had plates belonging to another vehicle and was flagged for seizure for having been stolen the previous Sunday in Lisbon.
Inside the vehicle, construction tools valued at 1,300 euros were found, stolen from another parked vehicle nearby. The victim's mobile phone was also recovered, which had been hidden in a garden.
The three detained remained at the police station to be brought before their first judicial interrogation.
