TRE-PI dismisses Lourdes Melo's candidacy and invalidates Ravenna da Inclusão ticket

The Regional Electoral Court of Piauí (TRE-PI) dismissed Lourdes Melo's candidacy for state governor in the 2026 elections. The decision also invalidated the ticket she led, known as Ravenna da Inclusão.

The decisions directly affect the electoral landscape in Piauí for the next year, removing one of the tickets competing for the governor's position.

Despite the dismissal, an appeal against the court's decision is still possible. The campaigns involved can continue their activities normally while the process moves through the Electoral Court.
