The Funchal City Council launched a public tender worth 5 million euros aimed at the repair of dozens of streets in the city. The announcement was made this Thursday by the president of the municipality, Jorge Carvalho, at the end of the council meeting.

Jorge Carvalho acknowledges that there are several municipal roads that need intervention. The mayor stated that the assessment of needs is already completed and that there are streets with significant wear that justify the intervention.

The repair program aims to cover a large number of roads in the city, representing a significant investment in Funchal's road infrastructure.
