Dark Horse: ally of Bolsonaro comes to defense of one of those investigated in federal police operation: single mother who did nothing wrong

cbn10 September 2026 at 13:38

Fabio Wajngarten, former head of the Communication Secretariat of former President Jair Bolsonaro and ally of Senator Flavio Bolsonaro, criticized the Federal Police operation carried out on Thursday (10) and came to the defense of one of those investigated, Karina Gama, owner of a production company that received disbursements of more than R$ 2 million from federal deputy Mário Frias. Karina and Mário Frias are targets of the federal agents.

On a social media platform, Wajngarten stated that Karina is a single mother who did nothing wrong and would be receiving threats. He declared that "the rope always snaps on the weakest side" and stated that he entered the case to, in his words, "reconstruct the truth."

The targets of the operation are investigated for embezzlement, money laundering, and criminal organization. The case is analyzed by the Supreme Federal Court through Minister Flavio Dino, who authorized today's operation.

The investigations involve disbursements of parliamentary amendments destined for an NGO linked to Karina Gama's production company.
