The Hortolândia Association of Atibaia holds until September 27 the 44th edition of the Flowers and Strawberries Festival at the Ecological Park of Atibaia. The event, which operates from Friday to Sunday and on holidays, from 9am to 6pm, has the theme "Kibō - hope!" and brings together rural producers, exhibitors, cultural groups and visitors from various cities.
The event has existed since 1984 and attracts thousands of people annually, with the aim of valuing local agricultural production, Japanese culture and promoting solidarity actions. In 2025, the Solidary Admission initiative raised more than six tons of food, destined for the Solidarity Social Fund of Atibaia.
In the current edition, admission is free for those who donate one kilogram of sealed non-perishable food within its expiration date on September 11. The Flower Exhibition Pavilion features over one million petals organized in arrangements and scenes, and the Japanese Garden has a torii, reinforcing the cultural theme of the event.
