The Federal Police carried out on Thursday (10) Operation Make Up to investigate suspected embezzlement of public funds through parliamentary amendments destined to organizations linked to the production of the film Dark Horse, which portrays the trajectory of former President Jair Bolsonaro. The operation was authorized by Minister Flávio Dino, of the Supreme Federal Court, and executed 49 search and seizure warrants in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Ceará, and the Federal District.

One of the main targets is federal deputy Mário Frias (PL-SP), who had seven firearms seized by agents at his residence. Karina Gama, producer of the film, is also a target of the operation. In addition to the weapons, the PF seized cell phones and computers at addresses related to those under investigation.

The seven weapons are registered in Mário Frias' name, but were at an address different from the one declared by the parliamentarian, which constitutes a possible irregularity in the possession of the armaments that will also be investigated by the police.
