The District Command for Relief Operations of Leiria issued a First Alert Dispatch for a wildfire in the Landal area, in the municipalities of Leiria and Caldas da Rainha. The alert was activated in response to a fire that broke out in woody vegetation in the region.
The authorities mobilized 17 operatives and 4 ground vehicles to combat the fire. No air assets were deployed for this incident, indicating that the situation has not yet required this type of reinforcement.
