The Alentejo 2030 program has managed to commit 53.5% of its total allocation to approved operations, according to data released by CCDR Alentejo. However, the program's financial execution stands at 12.7%, revealing a significant gap between the commitments made and the payments actually made.
The approval rate of Alentejo 2030 follows the average of the remaining regional programs of Portugal 2030. The Alentejo program is only surpassed by the Lisbon and Northern programs in terms of fund approval.
Regarding the distribution of approved support, private entities concentrate the majority of funds, with 61.49% of the total approved. Public entities account for 38.51% of the support, representing a smaller share than private entities.
The now-known data shows that, although the Alentejo 2030 program is progressing in the approval of projects, the effective execution of funds is still in an initial phase, with the majority of commitments still to be financially realized.
