A military police officer was arrested during an operation launched to combat the misappropriation of public funds and fraud in bids in the state of Piauí. The operation investigates crimes related to the misuse of public funds in the region.
During the action, 19 search and seizure warrants were executed in the city of Floriano. In addition, four arrest warrants were carried out in the capital Teresina, resulting in the arrest of the military police officer and other people involved in the scheme.
