Gabriel Rufián, ERC spokesperson in the Congress of Deputies, spoke to the press this Thursday in the corridors of the lower chamber before participating in a new plenary session. During his statements, the Catalan independence politician criticized the Spanish Government's strategy.
Rufián stated that "the Government prefers that its internal disputes be discussed rather than Morocco". This declaration comes in a context of political tension related to the Moroccan question, which appears to be generating divisions within the Spanish executive.
The ERC spokesperson reiterated that "they are placing Margarita Robles at the feet of the horses to not talk about Morocco", in a clear reference to the Minister of Defense and how she is being treated internally by her own party or by the Government.
