The State Attorney General warned that one in five crimes in Spain is already related to cybercrime, representing 19.85% of all criminal activity in the country.

Within this context, the Prosecutor's Office expressed special concern over the increase of more than 33% in crimes against the sexual freedom of minors committed in the digital environment.

Among these digital crimes against minors, those related to the creation and dissemination of child sexual abuse material and the grooming of minors through the internet stand out.
