António Costa met this Thursday with Montenegro at São Bento to discuss the next European Union budget. The meeting took place as part of a tour Costa is making across all European capitals.

The objective of this trip is to discuss with the heads of State and Government of the EU the next community budget. This budget should cover the period between 2028 and 2034.

Through these bilateral meetings, Costa seeks to gather support and consensus from his European counterparts for the upcoming budgetary negotiations at the community level.
