A new edition of the World Consumer Airport Index has been published, a ranking developed by the Consumer Choice Center that evaluates the best airports in the world. The index includes 20 airports in total, of which only two are in Europe.
The study seeks to identify what makes an airport more convenient for passengers, considering different aspects of the traveler experience. The ranking is not limited to evaluating only the infrastructure, but also other elements that contribute to traveler satisfaction.
Among the airports highlighted in the ranking, the majority are outside Europe, which reflects an uneven distribution of the highest-ranked airports in the index. This new edition maintains the focus on the complete passenger experience, not just traditional operational aspects.
