The Territorial Command of Setúbal of the Republican National Guard detained a 38-year-old man in Almada, suspected of having committed 11 theft crimes. Most of the thefts occurred in educational establishments.
The suspect was brought before a court, where the most severe precautionary measure was applied: preventive detention. This decision was made within the framework of the judicial proceedings against the man.
The military authorities did not disclose details about the value of the stolen objects nor about the method used by the suspect to commit the crimes. The case continues to be investigated by the competent authorities.
